First and foremost, one of go to spot, that’s not only hidden, but is worth the price we pay is Bianco & Rosso located in Sheung Wan.
Offering a delightful four-course weekend odyssey brunch that sets you back $298 per person (food only!), starts off with fresh bread of the day, an appetizer, second course, main course, sides and add and additional $68 for desserts (if you still have room for any).
Trust me when I say, this is worth the penny, as the meals are delectable and not forgetting the well portioned meal sizes, plus great ambience and impeccable service makes it a great experience. The main course choices are changed every now and then, currently the beef sirloin, confit French duck leg, grilled salmon and whole three yellow chicken are the choices on offer, and I strongly suggest you to check out their website here for the most updated brunch menu.
Next up, we will be visiting a hidden gem located in a small nook along the streets of Sai Ying Pun (the most mountainous area of HK if you ask me). LucAle- Tasting Italy is tucked away on an alley on Thirds Street (easier to locate if you knew where potatohead once was). The brunch menu on offer is straightforward, having said that, its nowhere close to being small. They are very generous with their portions.
The brunch menu starts every weekend and public holidays from 1200 – 1500 and will leave a small dent of $458 per person. This includes free flow of house wines, prosecco and cold cuts, pizzetta, salads and to end with a choice of dessert (tiramisu or another dessert that changes regularly). It is a great spot for dates, meetings and just a weekend to hang out with friends and catchup as the environment is set up to be cosy with an open kitchen concept, so you can chat up the staff anytime. If the brunch menu is not filling enough for you, you can always add on more choices of pasta on top of the brunch menu.
